Course 3 - (MODULE 4) - Advanced Video Surveillance Techniques

This module covers IP Technology, Networking, IP cameras, Video Recording, Bandwidth principles, Motion Detection, Video switching, Transmission mediums, Video Management and Analytics, Fault-finding, Testing and Commission.

This technical sales course is designed to give Sales Consultants a deeper understanding of CCTV and Video Surveillance,  Correct camera selection and Operational Requirements and is loaded with sales techniques specifically geared for the Video Surveillance industry

Course 5 - Intruder Alarms for Insurance Assessors

This course is designed to give Insurance Assessors an understanding of the workings of Intruder Alarm systems and their components in order to minimise the risk facing the Insurance Industry. The course includes Alarm Components, Correct Detector selection and alarm technology as well as best practice and SAIDSA standards.

Course 6 - (MODULE 1) - Fire Detection Fundamentals

This is an advanced course in Fire Detection. The course covers the Terminology, Principles of fire detection, Categories and legislative requirements of a fire alarm system and their function as well as correct product selection.

Due to its complexity, It is highly recommended that the learner completes the 4 modules of Intruder Alarms before attempting this course.

Module 4 (Fire System design) is designated for the design of Fire Detection systems.

Course 6 - (MODULE 2) - Fire Detection Installations

This module covers the recommendations and best practice principles of Fire Detection installations, workmanship and responsibility of the installer.

Course 6 - (MODULE 3) - Fire Detection System Commissioning, Handover and Maintenance

This module consists of all the reccomendations and requirements for Commissioning, Handover and Maintenance of an installed Fire Detection System and includes sample forms and certificates.

Central Station (Control Room) Operator - Operate within a Central Station

This course covers the introduction to Central Stations as well as the duties to be carried out by a Central Station operator. The preperation of the workstation as well as hygiene, communication, reporting and teamwork.

Central Station (Control Room) Operate Monitoring Equipment / Workstation

This course gives as overview of the hardware and software usd in a Central Station and the equipment operation.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are explained as well as the proccessing of information.
